Fiedler’s View – Bethany, Barossa Valley
is planted with four varieties - Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. There are eight different blocks within the vineyard and four of the blocks are over fifty years old. Two of the Shiraz blocks were planted in 1960 and the two Cabernet Sauvignon blocks in 1960 and 1965 respectively.
Riesling
5.66 acres - Two blocks planted in 1983 & 1970 on a Sandy loam base.
Chardonnay
4.08 acres - One block planted in 1985 on a Sandy loam base.
Shiraz
7.88 acres - One block planted in 1960 and one in 1996 on a Sandy loam base.
Cabernet Sauvignon
5.12 acres - Two blocks planted in 1960 and 1965 on a Sandy loam base.
