Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2008 Grand Barossa Shiraz displays notes of mulberries, spice cake, blackberry preserves, anise and vanilla. Ripe, rich and full-bodied, the palate is nicely lifted by crisp acidity and supported by a medium level of velvety tannins, finishing long.
