No other event in the Barossa attracts such widespread interest as the ‘ Annual Cricket Masters Match’ held at the C.C.G. (Château Cricket Ground)
Since the Inaugral match in 2004 a whole host of World Class Cricketing Legends have graced the C.C.G.
2006 was the year of the Ashes, Mike Gatting leading the English to Victory whilst David Gower and Sir Ian Botham provided the commentary.
2007 saw the theme of the 21st anniversary of the tied test in Madras with four of the original Australian side taking to the crease. Ray Bright, Bruce Reid, Dave Gilbert and Greg Mathews all made it for this special occasion whilst the match was officiated by the original Test Umpires, Vikram Raju and Dara Doti Walla
2009 was the turn of the visiting West Indies to take up the challenge with Kenny Benjamin, Junior Murray and Alvin Kallicharran all flying in from the West Indies to be joined by a host of international stars.
In 2011 we look forward to hosting the next match in this Bi - Annual event
