Noble Baron Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
Tasting Notes

NOBLE BARON Cabernet Sauvignon is a superb handcrafted wine of complexity and intensity. Brilliant ruby red in color, the bouquet displays enticing aromas of blackcurrant, tobacco and green tea. The palate is rich and concentrated while the elegant French oak gives a ‘subtle lift’ to the wine.

Soft supple tannins add to the texture and weight, and the long, lingering finish. This wine will age gracefully for 10 years plus.

Deep red colour, opaque core. Christmas cake aromas, spices, dried fruit and ripe plum with a dash of cassis. Very rich and sustained concentration in the mouth. Great brooding depth and chewy satisfaction.

Deep garnet in colour, the 2008 Noble Baron Cabernet Sauvignon has an evolved nose of warm cassis, kirsch, tobacco and olives with hints of earth and cigar boxes. Medium-full bodied, it offers great concentration and balance in the mouth with lively acid, medium to firm grainy tannins and good long finish. Showing a fair bit of maturity now, it should continue to give pleasure to 2019+ Drink: 2012– 2019
