About the Sydney Cellar Door
Château Tanunda is thrilled to bring the Barossa to Sydney permanently.

The concept offers a space where wine enthusiasts can explore some of the Barossa's most distinctive wines during privately hosted wine experiences in the heart of Australia's largest city.
Opened on the 13th October 2021, fine wine specialist Justin Lambert manages the tasting room and with his passion for wine and the Barossa shining through in the wine experience offered. Justin's long experience with wine makes him an inviting host for wine lovers of all levels.
"This exciting initiative is the first of its kind for Sydney. Our Old Vines Expressions tasting experience is an exploration of some of the rarest wines in the world, from vines that are 50, 100 and 150 years old," says Justin. "The space is intimate, with groups limited to 18 people, to create hosted experiences that are truly personal and special. It is a fun place for Sydneysiders to explore the Barossa in their backyard."

"Our tasting room provides the perfect base in the city from which to share our distinguished Barossa wines with a wide audience while also allowing us to venture into the boardrooms and offices of the CBD to host wine experiences directly with corporate teams," says Justin.
