Chateau Tanunda Announced 'Best Australian Producer 2018' at Berlin Wine Trophy
Monday, 19 March 2018The first medals of the wine show circuit have rolled in with a great start to 2018 at the Berlin Wine Trophy in Germany with Château Tanunda awarded 11 Gold Medals, and 2 Silver Medals, and receiving the special award of 'Best Australian Producer 2018' for the 8th time in 9 years.
Amongst the Gold Medal winners were all four of the latest release Terroirs of the Barossa Collection 2016, and the latest releases of the Noble Baron Shiraz 2016, Matthews Road Shiraz 2016 and the Grand Barossa Riesling 2017.
This is another big win for our Grand Barossa range, with the current vintage Grand Barossa Shiraz 2016 and Grand Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 both already awarded Gold at the Berlin Wine Trophy 2017.

Under the patronage of the OIV (Organisation Internationale de la Vigne et du Vin) the Berliner Wine Trophy attracts over 11,500 submissions from 30+ countries per year with the 167 international judges awarding medals to less than 30% of the entrants.
