Chateau Tanunda Bell Rings in Vintage 2016

Senior Winemaker Neville Rowe rang in his first vintage at Chateau Tanunda in the traditional ringing of the vintage bell to mark the start of vintage 2016. The year promises some outstanding wines with opportune rainfall rounding out the quality on a hot dry growing season. 

"We are expecting some powerful complex Barossa wines to come out of 2016, with yields a little lower but the quality going throught the roof in some blocks. It is the most exciting time of the year to be a winemaker when you are coming into what you know will be a good vintage" said Neville.
