The Global Cabernet Masters has grown in only a few years to be one of the most respected wine competitions in the world, attracting submissions from wineries from over 20 countries. Organised by the respected The Drinks Business publication in the UK, all the wines are judged exclusively by style and price, with only up to 500 submissions accepted per competition, and typically less than 40% of entries are awarded medals.
The judging panel, chaired by the drinks business, is composed exclusively of Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers and senior buyers in the United Kingdom. The full report from this competition will be published in the upcoming publication of the Drinks Business magazine, due out in July 2019.
