Top Results at Berlin Wine Trophy 2017 Summer Tasting
Monday, 7 August 2017The latest Berlin Wine Trophy results for the 2017 Summer tasting (Second Round of 2017) have just come in, and it is a massive tick of approval of the wines to come from the 2016 vintage!
The star was the not yet released Grand Barossa Shiraz 2016, taking a Grosses Gold (Premium Gold), which is the equivalent to a Trophy for this competition. Only 24 wines of the 5362 wines submitted from more than 30 countries around the world were awarded a Premium Gold.
Eight other wines were awarded a Gold, and three Silver, including a raft of wines from the outstanding 2016 vintage that are not yet released, or are new products.
