Top Results at Berlin Wine Trophy 2017 Summer Tasting

The latest Berlin Wine Trophy results for the 2017 Summer tasting (Second Round of 2017) have just come in, and it is a massive tick of approval of the wines to come from the 2016 vintage!

 The star was the not yet released Grand Barossa Shiraz 2016, taking a Grosses Gold (Premium Gold), which is the equivalent to a Trophy for this competition. Only 24 wines of the 5362 wines submitted from more than 30 countries around the world were awarded a Premium Gold.

 Eight other wines were awarded a Gold, and three Silver,  including a raft of wines  from the outstanding 2016 vintage that are not yet released, or are new products.

100 Year Old vines Shiraz 2015 (Release September 2017)

100 Year Old Vines Shiraz Grenache Mourvèdre 2015 (Release September 2017)

50 Year Old Vines Shiraz 2014 (Making huge waves in all shows at the moment)

The Chateau Eden Valley Chardonnay 2016 (First major award for this small batch wine)

Grand Barossa Merlot Grenache 2016 (New Product)
