In our 125th Anniversary year, we have claimed an astounding seventeen medals at the China Wine and Spirits awards 2015, including the Trophy for 'Australian Wine of the Year'  for our flagship wine the '150 Year Old Vines 1858 Field Blend 2013' .

The award perpetuates the impeccable success of our '150 Year Old Vines 1858 Field Blend' with already a 97 point rating from Huon Hooke, 96 from Mike Bennie, 95 from the Wine Front as well as Gold at the Berlin Wine Trophy.

This 2015 Trophy sees Château Tanunda reinforce its reputation of quality, also awarded Double Gold for our 'Everest Shiraz 2013' and 'The Chateau Bethanian Shiraz 2013' , as well as an unprecedented 11 further Gold Medals.

Under the custodianship of the Geber family, The Château is poised to achieve great things as Proprietor, John Geber, noted

"I'm thrilled our 125th Anniversary year is continuing with such a comprehensive performance in a very competitive show. These awards reinforce my belief that we have reclaimed Château Tanunda's iconic position and that the Barossa is capable of producing world-class wines which over deliver in so many ways and Chinese fine wine drinkers absolutely love"

As always, if you seek wines that speak of the Barossa, its history, its terroir and generations of families, the wines of Château Tanunda, Icon of the Barossa, should be your first choice.
