Barossa Tower Moscato 2012
Sold Out
Picked early in the morning, the fruit was delivered cool to the winery. Gentle pressing to minimise phenolics and cold settling preceded a long, cool fermentation averaging 12°C. The fermentation was left to run its course over 14 days leaving a naturally sweet, vibrant wine. A touch of spritz is detectable on the palate from the residual carbon dioxide which was harnessed and bottled to retain both fruit vibrancy and freshness.
This is the first wine Château Tanunda has bottled out of the 2012 vintage. This light, fresh and deliciously sweet wine is the perfect aperitif. The nose is characterised by the lifted floral notes of musk and summer fruits with the palate having a great natural fruit sweetness. The slight natural effervescence is refreshing and cleansing, with fruit notes of lime and pineapple with a clean zesty finish.
