Grand Barossa Dry Riesling 2016
Tasting Notes

GRAND BAROSSA Riesling draws from the Barossa region’s Germanic history. Barossa (often known as being synonymous with Shiraz) is once again turning heads for its exceptional Riesling. Refreshing, dry and displaying all the delicacy, elegance and finesse of this noble variety with a large part of this wine from old vines planted on the Château Tanunda Estate in the 1920s.

GRAND BAROSSA Riesling is subtle yellow in color, displaying delicate lifted aromas of lime blossom and citrus fruits. Lemon, lime and hints of passion fruit are in abundance. The palate is focused, pure and linear with a delicious juicy finish. Elegant and intense with a touch of minerality and refreshing acidity.

It’s the first day of spring, so best knock out a few Eden Riesling reviews in record time, before I go out for an early dinner. Livin’ a Del Boca Vista life…  Pretty, perfumed, lemon oil and a bit of lime. Light bodied, good flavour, juicy lemon and lemon sherbet, gentle chalky texture, a tweak of pith and gin and tonic bitterness to close. Goes pretty well.  Drink : 2017 - 2020+

This is pretty yet serious Riesling from a historic Barossa winery. Melon, peach, lime, wild mint, flowers and a hint of kerosene all flow onto a light, delicate palate, with well balanced acidity and an attractive, spicy finish.
