Grand Barossa Dry Riesling 2018
Tasting Notes

GRAND BAROSSA Riesling draws from the Barossa region’s Germanic history. Barossa (often known as being synonymous with Shiraz) is once again turning heads for its exceptional Riesling. Refreshing, dry and displaying all the delicacy, elegance and finesse of this noble variety.

The body of this wine comes from 90 year old vines, adding to the complexity and depth of flavour.

GRAND BAROSSA Riesling is subtle yellow in color, displaying delicate lifted aromas of lime blossom and citrus fruits. Lemon, lime and hints of passion fruit are in abundance. The palate is focused, pure and linear with a delicious juicy finish. Elegant and intense with a touch of minerality and refreshing acidity.

Winemaking

Picked in the cool of the night to preserve freshness, we combine both traditional and modern winemaking techniques to make handcrafted wines of complexity, depth and intensity.

Dried flower aromas, pot-pourri and mixed herbs, both fresh and dried. The palate is crisp and dry, savoury and elegantly-structured with good length and a clean, appetising finish. The aftertaste is slightly yeasty, very dry and savoury. It's lip-smackingly dry. Drink 2018 to 2025

Expressing precision and poise, the wine shows Granny Smith apple, lime/lime peel and white floral notes on the nose, leading to a brilliantly focused palate that is vibrant and linear. It is delicate yet flavoursome with a terrific long, mouth-watering finish. At its best: 2020 to 2028
