GRAND BAROSSA Riesling draws from the Barossa region’s Germanic history with its exceptional Riesling that are refreshing, dry and displaying all the delicacy, elegance and finesse of this noble variety.

The body of this wine comes from 95+ year old vines, adding to the complexity and depth of flavour. 

GRAND BAROSSA Riesling displays delicate lifted aromas of lime blossom and citrus fruits. Lemon, lime and hints of ripe stonefruit are in abundance. The palate is focused, pure and linear with a delicious juicy finish. Elegant and intense with a touch of minerality and refreshing acidity.

Winemaking

Picked in the cool of the night to preserve freshness, we combine both traditional and modern winemaking techniques to make handcrafted wines of complexity, depth and intensity.

It’s pristine and inviting on the nose showing nectarine, crunchy apple, lime sorbet and white floral characters, leading to a delightfully weighted palate that’s focused and concentrated. The wine offers fine texture and bright acidity, making it classically structured for a gracious development. At its best: 2021 to 2031

The majority of the grapes were from the Barossa Valley, the primary components from a 98yo vineyard at the front of the Chateau, and 40yo vines in Bethany... Drink by 2024
