Grand Barossa Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre 2019
Tasting Notes

Lifted aromas of blackberry, black cherry and raspberry are accompanied by spicy, dark berry fruits and white pepper on the medium bodied palate.

The finish is long with fine grained tannins from maturation in a combination of new and seasoned French and American barrels. Enjoy now or cellar carefully for up to eight years from vintage.

Winemaking

For our Grand Barossa Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre we select grapes grown throughout the Barossa. It is this tapestry of ‘terroirs’ which enables us to create this classic blend in our refined house style.

By combining  both traditional and modern winemaking techniques we are able to make handcrafted wines of complexity, depth and intensity.

Sweetly fruited and gorgeously comforting, the wine shows Black Doris plum, spiced cherry, vanilla, roasted nut and subtle game characters on the nose. The palate displays excellent weight and roundness, together with silky texture and supple tannins, offering terrific drinking. At its best: now to 2029.
