Grand Barossa Dry Rosé 2021
Tasting Notes

A crisp modern dry style of rosé with soft colours and texture from the lightly coloured Pinot Noir variety.

Aromas bursting with juicy strawberry and raspberry lead to a lively palate full of red berry fruits and a cranberry lift on the crisp, dry finish. Ideal with fish, white meat and vegetable dishes.

Winemaking

By combining both traditional and modern winemaking techniques we are able to make handcrafted wines of complexity, depth and intensity.

The grapes were destemmed and pressed after only one-hour maceration on skins before cool fermentation in stainless steel, giving the wine its subtle salmon-pink colour and crisp flavours.

Bright and fresh with red apple, strawberry, nectarine and floral aromas, it’s juicy and finely expressed on the palate delivering pristine fruit flavours with crisp acidity, flowing beautifully to a lengthy tasty finish. At its best: now to 2024

A perfectly beautiful modern style Aussie rosé, modelled of course on the French style. It’s dry but with surprising texture and appealing mouthfeel. Aromas of strawberry with a little red currant influence. It’s dry as chips and just so right for drinking on a warm afternoon. Love the style.

...nicely balanced, subtle but sharp...rosé.
