Tasting Notes
This elegant and structured wine is made from grapes of the 80 year old vines at the Lowke family vineyard at Ebenezer. The vines grow in lighter sandy loam soil and are still cane pruned and hand picked as they have been for 3 generations. The aromas are ripe fruit, black plum, mulberry, cloves and aniseed. The fl avours are complete and mouthfilling, with elegance, structure, herbal characters and great length.

Medium-bodied; quite firm and savoury, with black fruits, spice and earth; most restrained and elegant; an interesting trio with same alcohol and winemaking; 80-year-old vines. Cork. DRINK 2018 DATE TASTED Mar 08
