Tasting Notes
A magnificent rich and ripe tasting Barossan shiraz. The full flavours reflect the old vines and fertile red soils of the Matchoss vineyard at Greenock where the grapes were sourced. The attractive aromas of the wine have mulberry, cassis and ripe plum, with spicy notes of nutmeg and cinnamon. The flavours are rich, ripe berry fruits with strong tannins and great length. Cellar for up to 10 years. 200 cases produced.

Aromas of blackberry, raspberry jam, chocolate, cinnamon and little earth. On the palate lush plum and raspberry fruit, brown spices, aniseed and chocolate flavours. It has firm lightly grippy tannins peeking out from behind the plump cushions of fruit and good fresh acidity to balance. Very tasty wine. Tasted : Oct 2007 Closure : Cork Drink : 2007 - 2015
