The Château Botrytis Semillon 2011
Tasting Notes

The luscious and rich Botrytis Semillon has a complex bouquet of marmalade and orange peel with a hint of apricot and toasted hazlenut. The palate builds on the intense aromas and flavours and is enhanced by the long lingering finish with a refreshing acidity.

This wine is the perfect accompaniment to fresh fruit desserts, blue cheeses and pates.

Fotex Wine Club Review
The grapes for this delicious dessert have all been attacked by Botrytis cinerea, noble rot. The handpicked grapes are soaked cold for one night, before pressing gently. Afterwards, it is fermented with close-year French oak for 10-15 days at a constant temperature of 18 ° C. A full-bodied wine with a bouquet of orange peel. The flavor is intense with notes of apricot and nuts. The wine has a long, persistent aftertaste with a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. Enjoy the 9 ° -12 ° C for fruit, pate and cheese - especially blue cheese. 100% Semillon grapes. 12% alcohol.
